It is exciting and fun to to have another lens to play with. this is a 70-300mm sigma lens that has a wonderful mode that allows a much shorter focusing distance at 200-300mm. This has allowed me to take some much better macro shots, a few of which have made it on into my gallery.
I have also been able to start the process of learning how to take photographs with a 35mm stills film camera, that has no auto-focus and no auto exposure functions. this has been a steep learning curve, never having used a film camera before and having gotten so used to relying on the dslr functions. But it is good to have to stop and think about the picture that you are taking. Thinking about all the parameters before you take a picture and thinking if I really want to have a picture of it with the limited number of exposures that you have per film.
All in all it is a good time in my Photography life and I'm excited about the direction that it is going in
So farewell and keep drawing, shaping, snapping or whatever it is that you love doing.
